SuperLUX SHR (Super Hair Removal) is an advanced, virtually painfree hairreduction treatment that uses gentle, rapid pulses of light to gradually heat and disable the hair follicle. Most clients require a series of sessions — typically spaced every 4–6 weeks, depending on the area being treated and the natural hairgrowth cycle. Your personalised plan will outline how many sessions you’ll need, but generally a course of treatments is recommended for the best, longestlasting results.

Long lasting Hair Reduction
Use sunscreen with SPF 30 or greater
Avoid sun exposure to treated areas.
For the first 24 hours post-treatment (or until redness and swelling subsides):
Application of chilled aloe vera gel or post laser gel up to 3x times a day.
A cold compress every hour for 5-10 minutes may be soothing to the skin. Avoid ice directly on the skin.
Avoid exercise and activities that increase perspiration and body temperature.
Avoid extremely hot showers and baths.
Avoid the application of deodorant in the treatment area.
Avoid use of pools, spas and saunas.
Up to 5 days post-treatment:
Avoid the use of scented lotions and soaps.
Avoid using cosmeceutical Vitamin A, BHA’s, AHA’s and Vitamin C.
Up to 1-4 weeks post-treatment:
Avoid the use of prescription strength exfoliant creams (Prescriptive Vitamin A).
Avoid antiwrinkle injections and filler injections in the treatment area.
After 2 weeks, start gently exfoliating the treated area (retinol, scrubs etc). Use of these products earlier will aggravate skin and cause inflammation during the healing phases.
